Terengganu Hardware Machinery & Building Material Dealers’ Association (THMBDA)

Terengganu Hardware Machinery & Building Material Dealers' Association (THMBDA) was established in 2016, with the vision to represent the interests of hardware traders in the state. The association was formed by 11 founding members, led by Chairman Wang Tianran, including prominent figures such as Dato' Lim Zhi Hao, Huang Tian Fu, Ke Shu Mei, Huang Zhi Qiang, Lin Zhi Da, Liu Wei Ping, Zheng An Yan, Xu Yu Wei, Yang Zhi Jie, and Zhong Wu Jie. Recognizing the need for a representative body in a state with a small Chinese business community, THMBDA was founded to unite the strength of local industry players and protect the rights of Chinese business owners. Since its inception, THMBDA has joined national and local trade associations such as the Malaysian Hardware Machinery & Building Materials Dealers' Association, the Terengganu Chinese Assembly Hall, and the Terengganu Chinese Chamber of Commerce, as part of its efforts to collaborate with government, businesses and society, to address industry challenges and contribute to social welfare initiatives.
