Federation of Malaysian Foundry and Engineering Industries Associations (FOMFEIA)

The Federation of Malaysian Foundry and Engineering Industries Associations (FOMFEIA) serves as the national representative organization for the foundry and engineering industries in Malaysia. Established on 7th January 1977, FOMFEIA has grown to include 11 State Associations, representing over 2,000 member companies across Malaysia. FOMFEIA's primary objective is to promote and develop business interaction, cooperation, and advancement within the foundry and engineering industries, while maintaining a strong relationship with other related associations across Malaysia. Additionally, FOMFEIA works to protect the overall interests of the industry, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of its members, providing consultation where necessary, and facilitating business interaction and trading. In addition to its core objectives, FOMFEIA is dedicated to assisting in the development of science, technology, and skills relevant to the industry, helping to ensure a skilled workforce for the future. Furthermore, FOMFEIA supports its members by helping to resolve problems arising from the implementation of government policies, organizing trade missions and exposure trips, engaging in dialogues and discussions with relevant ministries, and participating in relevant activities and initiatives.
